Purpose
To provide a full range of information technology services and IT digital solutions required by the Company. Have deep technical knowledge and practical experience with SinoSoft Technology’s LIS (Life Insurance System) core and LifeAsia’s legacy core systems with deep data architecture experience. Structure IT related activities and interactions of IT technical team with internal users and external stakeholders following the Company Service Management framework and System Development Lifecycle or Agile process.
Qualifications / Experience / Requirements
- University graduate in any computer related discipline
- Over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on core system architecture
- In-depth knowledge in System Development Life Cycle and project management methodology
- Strong background in system integration, data modeling, and enterprise architecture.
- Solid understanding of insurance business processes (e.g., underwriting, claims, policy administration).
- Hands on experience in JEE application development
- Good problem-solving skill, able to pick up new technologies.
- Experience in life insurance, demonstrable experience in leading complex IT projects from design through to implementation.
- Experience with user coordination and vendor management
- Exposure in Mobile and/or Web-based systems related applications
- Solid working experience of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Knowledge in common Life administration system
- Knowledge and experience in DevOps development with containers is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in Agile Software Development approach and Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE or PMP is an advantage
- Team leading experience is a preferable
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese/Putonghua
