Introducing “MoreAcademy” to improve insurance and financial planning services by promoting industry-wide professionalism and investor education
 

Heng An Standard Life (Asia) Limited (“HASL Asia”, or the “Company” hereafter) today announces the launch of a new investment-linked assurance scheme (ILAS) along with 11 additional investment choices. With this batch of addition, there will be a total of 23 investment choices with cash dividends distribution to satisfy customer needs. Overall, the Company will now offer more than 270 investment choices managed by over 20 world-renowned fund managers, covering a diverse array of currencies and themes, including RMB investment choices, to better help customers manage their ILAS portfolios.

HASL Asia is dedicated to improving insurance and financial planning services for customers. Apart from introducing new ILAS and investment choices, the Company is also unveiling “MoreAcademy”, a platform that aims to promote professionalism across the industry and spread investor education. In collaboration with academic institutions and organisations, “MoreAcademy” will provide financial advisers with the latest market updates, regulatory information and professional training, contributing to the long-term development of the sector by nurturing talent and raising professionalism. Moreover, social media promotions of information related to insurance and financial planning are planned, to strengthen investor education. 

“MoreAcademy” will launch “CII LEAD Programme – ILAS CPD Masterclass” in partnership with the Chartered Insurance Institute and HKU Space from April to May 2023. This is a CPD-accredited course specially designed for financial advisers to improve their knowledge of ILAS and financial planning.
