Heng An Standard Life (Asia) Limited (“HASL Asia”) would like to invite you to register for this campaign to receive promotion from us. To show our appreciation for your interest, you will be eligible to enjoy a 12-month free coverage under the eWallet protection to protect your e-wallet accounts, such as AlipayHK, Tap & Go and WeChat Pay HK etc, against stolen purchases and the loss of your Octopus card as well#.

The maximum sum insured is up to HK$8,000!

- Stolen purchases from your eWallet account arising from identity theft or your insured Octopus card
- Unauthorised transactions from your credit card
- Fraudulent transactions settled by insured eWallets from your electronic devices

Please register below with your personal data and agree to the collection and use of your personal information for direct marketing activities from HASL Asia from time to time. The eWallet protection (“eWallet Protection (mini version) Policy” or “Master Policy”) is underwritten by Avo Insurance Company Limited (“Avo Insurance”). To enjoy the coverage under the Master Policy, some of your personal data as provided by you for registration below will be disclosed to Avo Insurance for the provision of your coverage (including but not limited to claims and other policy administrative purposes). HASL Asia is the policy holder of the Master Policy.

Terms and Conditions of the Free eWallet Protection Coverage promotion campaign (“the Campaign”)

Promotion period:

1.  The promotion period of this campaign is from 15 July 2021 to 30 September 2021, both dates inclusive.

Eligible participant:

2. Anyone who has successfully registered for the Campaign.

3. Hong Kong resident who has reached the age of 18 or above.

The campaign:

4. Heng An Standard Life (Asia) Limited (“HASL Asia”) is the organiser of the Campaign.

5. The Eligible Participant will be entitled to a gift, which is a 12-month insurance coverage, free of charge, as an insured of the eWallet Protection (mini version) Policy (the “Master Policy”) underwritten by Avo Insurance Company Limited (“Avo Insurance”). HASL Asia is the policy holder of the Master Policy.

6. The Master Policy will reimburse the actual and irrecoverable monetary loss to eWallet(s) and/or credit card(s) and/or Octopus card(s) due to unauthorised transactions, subject to the terms and conditions of the coverage provided under the Master Policy.

7. The Eligible Participant will be informed by HASL Asia via the following means within 7 working days if successfully enrolled into the Master Policy, together with the detailed terms and conditions thereof: (a) SMS; or (b) Email, as provided to HASL Asia during your submission. If the Eligible Participant is not successfully enrolled into the Master Policy, HASL Asia will delete the submitted information of the Eligible Participant. If the information submitted by the Eligible Participant is inaccurate, he/she will not be successfully registered for the Campaign.

Octopus Card Extension

Avo Insurance will extend to reimburse the actual and irrecoverable monetary loss resulting from the unauthorized use of the insured Octopus cards within the first 3 hours the insured person has reported loss to Octopus Cards Limited. The insured person can claim once during the protection period

8. The Eligible Participant can only have one (1) free coverage under the Master Policy. If the Eligible Participant has registered for the Campaign more than once, the free coverage under the Master Policy will only be provided with reference to the first registration from the Eligible Participant under the Campaign. 

9. The Eligible Participant may, at any time after giving his consent to the disclosure of personal data for direct marketing purposes, indicate the intention to opt-out from direct marketing initiatives of HASL Asia (the ‘Opt-Out’), and to request for the deletion of the Eligible Participant's personal data, together with any information or records created in the course of any direct marketing initiatives conducted with the Eligible Participant, from the records of HASL Asia. The free coverage under the Master Policy of the Eligible Participant will not be affected by the Opt-Out.

10.  Avo Insurance, which is authorised and regulated by the Insurance Authority of the Hong Kong SAR, is the insurer of the Master Policy, and is fully responsible for all matters and coverage of the Master Policy (including, but not limited to, all claims processing).

11. The specified personal data of the Eligible Participant (the first name, last name, date of birth and Hong Kong Identity Card number), as provided in the registration stage, will be passed to Avo Insurance for inclusion for the provision of coverage under the Master Policy. 

12. The free coverage provided under the Master Policy is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.

13. HASL Asia reserves the right to terminate the Campaign and/or withdraw or amend the terms and conditions of the Campaign at any time without any prior notice. 

14. In case of any dispute, the decision made by HASL Asia shall be final and conclusive.

15. HASL Asia makes no representation, warranty or undertaking as to the quality and availability of the aforesaid Master Policy, and shall not accept any responsibility or liability for the services provided by the Avo Insurance.

16. None of HASL Asia employees is permitted to participate in the Campaign.
